This has nothing to do with "wanting to have" and luxury. According to that, socks would be luxury and rare fish everyday necessities.Our house is deliberately built with little storage space and little floor space. Since then, we buy much less and the "wanting to have" is fairly disciplined. What is needed is also available here in the countryside. What goes beyond that is luxury and is therefore chosen by us accordingly with pleasure and without time pressure, and thus also does not require a delivery service. Some consumables are sensationally cheap via delivery service - salt for the descaler, firelighters, screws, and fittings for example. Others are very special and remote - like paint for the old Holder. In those cases, I also take advantage of mail order (but not Amazon, I find them unsympathetic).
