But there are always some who live extravagantly here.

Quality should not only be a top priority in house construction

I'm still undecided whether I should dare something like that. My father did it like that back then. Crap durable stuff – over half a century old by now. P.S. on that: as you yourself say, only the hut stands. The outdoor facilities are still to come. We definitely don't have a picture thread here just for the houses, but also for the gardens themselves: I don't know that/if it is so – but I do know that here it is always seen that way by one half of the discussants. That's why you can nicely watch for several bags of chips how the Villariba and Villabajo factions argue about whether the door should be shifted (or rather must, drama drama) or not.

Quality yes, but there are plenty of products whose price can no longer be justified by the quality. At some point, it’s just "money burning." Therefore, price does matter to me, for example, with similar quality, the price clearly stands out, doesn’t it?

For example, I have seen a few things on Design-bestseller where "money burning" really applies. But well, then we are almost back to the topic of art. But I am sure that there are more than just a handful of products on this site whose quality does not justify the sometimes utopian price.

The problem is: many people with too much money also have too little taste and can only "read" the price as a clue whether something is worthy of their purchase. If you are a provider of accessories etc., you have two options: either you yourself put a shameless price on it or people take their money elsewhere. Because surplus money is, after all, an animal that flees. It only wants to stay in loving hands.

I think you misunderstood my statement. One should not choose the furniture based on price or brand but on quality (within the respective price segment). Expensive does not necessarily mean good.
