A little background would be helpful, writing a bit more if you have something to criticize. This doesn't help anyone otherwise.

So honestly: laying the cables only in the plaster, in my opinion, is not acceptable at all. Aside from the fact that I can't imagine that being up to code (this has to be assessed by experts), you can't even hang a calendar on the wall without having to be afraid of hitting one of the many cables.

That's why I say: always design house plans with a 10 cm buffer, not 3-4, that's not enough. You get really annoyed when the wardrobe doesn't fit into the niche, or the kitchen [emoji4]

10cm on every wall? That's quite a bit, right? I wouldn't plan down to the centimeter either, especially since the accuracy in masonry is usually within the centimeter range anyway. I ended up with about 6cm of buffer, meaning 1 to 2cm of plaster on each side, making four 4cm plus 50% "air". If it doesn't fit then, the carpenter will have to fix it - and admittedly, there's some frustration for a moment too [emoji6]

I currently have a €22,000 offer from the electrician for a rather extensive installation and €300 of the offer amount is for chasing. No, no zero missing. Why anyone would want to save on that, no idea.
