As you say, everything is finished except for the doors, floors, and final assembly of sanitary/electrical. There will be no surprises, it’s not like I’m entering the house for the first time after 8 months of construction.

As haydee writes, it is of course sufficient for kfw conditions at the handover. Logically, however, it is done before the interior construction. If you now hear whistling through the fittings and the ceiling spots in the upper floor, you will hardly tear down tiles and drywall again.

No, you know your house.
Only tight after the test is not the same as tight by feel.
For the KFW, passing is enough no matter what.
Test too early and you have to test twice. That was the case for us, but we also planned that we have to be below 0.6.

Which drywall, which ceiling spotlights? Sorry, I generally know what you mean, but I really can't read these clueless examples anymore. Let's just wait for the leak test. If it had been up to the comments from 1.5-2 years ago, I would have a building ruin now.

That was only meant as an illustration. The blower door test is done (apart from the obligation when using KfW funds) to check whether the vapor barrier is properly connected and sealed, whether everything is plastered tightly, whether house entrances and sockets are sealed, etc. Therefore, the test is done when the windows are installed, everything is plastered, and the roof is sealed (from the inside). Because now you can still make improvements. In your condition, no more improvements can be made. Consequently, this is how my first comment was meant; you no longer need the test. (Unless you make use of KfW funds)
