Tomorrow on my way to work I'll stop by the construction site again. I’m also hoping for a bit of progress. The intermediate ceiling was installed on Wednesday. No idea what the next steps are. Do I still have to check with Betib about the steel framework on the precast concrete parts?

Of course, concrete will be applied on top – and before that, empty conduits for electricity and ventilation will be installed.

Do you still need to betib the steel framework on the precast concrete parts?

I suspect you are talking about a "filigree slab." The (brand) name is, in my opinion, misleading, as this slab is basically no slimmer than other concrete slabs. What you see in the uncovered state is the reinforcement—laid in the part of the slab thickness that lies below the reinforcement. Then, on the construction site, the "rest" of the slab thickness is freshly added, in cast-in-place concrete or more often in ready-mix concrete. This avoids both the disadvantages of a fully "freshly prepared" on-site concrete slab (namely the construction of the formwork underneath), as well as those of the prefabricated concrete slab (namely its higher weight for transport). Otherwise, it is a concrete slab of the same type as was made in the past.
