The wood on our side also becomes uneven but not as fine – larch in Bergisch style. Photos will follow when it’s installed.

To be honest, I "actually" don’t care – the main thing is that the end result is right. And I am convinced of that. So far, we couldn’t find any faults with what our house builder has done; not everything always done the way it is "actually" done, but everything very well thought out, sensible, and efficient. Normally, you don’t build a wooden cellar and the geothermal energy system usually isn’t done the way we have it now. But actually, all customers are very satisfied with the result, and I had the opportunity to visit several customer houses beforehand and never got the impression that anything was unprofessional – only that everything was done to the full satisfaction of each of these homeowners, as we could see. For this reason, I remain optimistic and am waiting for whatever may still come. But now I am a bit more curious about how it will be done. I will report!

Very nice! Always great to watch something like this grow.

For us, the shell construction is finally supposed to start next week. It took a bit longer after it was discovered that the boundary development on our property as well as on our neighbor's property shares a common base slab, which first had to be separated painstakingly by hand.

So until Friday, breaking and removal of the construction debris is still planned – Monday and Tuesday will then be excavation – from Thursday, construction on the property will presumably finally start to progress in a positive direction again. I hope the company for the lightning protection preparation arrives on time so that we can quickly start with the base slab.

There will be pictures again in the next few days!

Absolutely. It goes extremely fast.

Unfortunately, in their haste, they built the parapet two heights too high and forgot an opening for the bracing support..

For us, a window was offset by one row of bricks, for the neighbor the parapet height was also too high, and for the other neighbor a window was completely forgotten... seems to be "normal".
