I had stretcher frames custom-made, a slightly thicker version with 4.2x2.8 cm slats, in 151 x 91 cm, (cost 35,-). Slats are not much cheaper, but cannot be stretched. Only with a stretcher frame can you tighten the fabric over the wedges at corners and braces once it is attached. There are plenty of videos about this on YouTube.

Linen fabric 25,- per sqm.

Self-stretched with stretching pliers (20,-) and Aldi staple gun set (around 8,-). Then add sawtooth picture hangers. Done. Everything stays within reasonable limits.

If you then glue pyramid foam (3cm thick, 20,-€ per sqm) behind the stretching/stretched canvas, you have the above-mentioned acoustic panels for little money and with real effect.

Classic mistake, people are too afraid to invest when building a house and save themselves into ruin. The result is expensive retrofitting and foregoing many things that one could and would have liked to afford.

This caution is for me more common sense and not a classic mistake If you go straight to the limit and have a bit of bad luck, you quickly slip into an expensive additional financing. Then the shouting here is also loud^^
