Larch does turn gray, but as Karsten already said, that is self-protection. It is also durable without constant painting. If you want to paint anyway, you don’t need larch. Didn’t we already discuss that in the [Holzterrassenthread]?

As soon as I hear painting, I feel sick. As a child/teenager, I had to paint my father's fence every 3 years. It was over 50 meters of fence with small and narrow bars.
