The picture comes from a property research institute that has just released the latest data on the real estate market. Our housing bubble burst in 2015, and since then it’s only been going downhill. is that what the municipality wants? Like DDR prefabricated buildings but only on 2 levels, no one dares to choose a different house color

I am not sure if the municipality wants it that way. In most areas, there is some leeway. However, I also cannot imagine that the builders want it like this. In that context, I would find the "question of blame" interesting.

I have only seen a relatively strict development plan that aims to preserve the uniqueness of the village (the most beautiful village in Saxony, I no longer remember the year) and even there, in the new development area, quite different houses stand in color and shape.

I have not perceived it that way before. I am always impressed by how differentiated and factual the discussions/exchanges/playful "arguments" are here. I also find the above-mentioned advice extremely helpful and important for semi-detached house builders. If it does not apply to your own house, then perhaps to another one, where the builder can still counteract. However, I may also lack sensitivity.
