It is pure coincidence that the room width is almost exactly 2.40m. The dimensions were subject to many other factors; the tile size was not really on our list.

Apart from that, I have nothing against half tiles at the edge, and a large wardrobe will stand on the left anyway, which would have undone any attention to the tile pattern.

A really beautiful carport
Are you cladding it on the left side in the photo? If yes, with wood? Glass?

Best regards

Is there really nothing more that can be done? I often find it difficult to accept the "seemingly impossible," even when it comes to physical laws.

I can think of more reasons why it unfortunately "doesn't work" anymore now: 1. The house of gives me the impression that building, interior architecture, and furnishings are a coherent whole. You first need room in the concept to integrate the stove. 2. In a new house, just moved in, just organized everything and settling in — to rip things up again, make a mess, be a construction site again? I would find not wanting that understandable. 3. Assuming money is a finite resource, the following could also be the case: stove saved —> other nice things realized instead —> spending stop agreed.

The storage room is clad with wood. The roof is made of sandwich sheet profiles (white inside and RAL9007 outside, the same as the windows). The sides are also clad with sheet metal. If it’s finished next Friday, there will be photos. It already looks huge at the moment.
