Pole pruner or long hedge trimmer also available with 8 meters;) Or you just use a ladder. For 1-2 times a year it's fine as long as we're not talking about hundreds of meters of hedge.

Looks good! What kind of terrace slabs are those seen in the first picture? We will have our terrace done next spring and are still looking. The current favorite would be the Arctia Betonplus from KANN, we like it very much and it should be very durable. But yours also looks very good.

They are called "silkstone RSF 5 Cano" from the company Rinn (Rinn Beton- und Naturstein GmbH & Co. KG). Make sure that the slabs are not too dark. They get really hot when the sun beats down on them! And never use the high-pressure cleaner on them. Neither on slabs nor on paving stones!
