After the roughest filling work—I lost count of the trucks in the end—we are slowly starting the preliminary work for the garden design.

We hope to get one or two walls built before winter. If winter is kind, we might still manage the driveway. Hallelujah, 24 tons of masonry stones look vanishingly small.

it's very very slowly happening. Our focus was outside in the summer. My husband sat on the excavator from morning till evening during the three weeks of summer vacation. You don’t see much of that. All the truck drivers in the area give us light signals when they pass him.
