It may be that I’m mistaken, but in my opinion the not-so-cool thing about your supposed advantage is that the area not covered by your tiny pot on the induction field emits questionable amounts of magnetic radiation (towards you)

Many (like our hob, when it’s ready) only "heat" the area that the pot is on.
With older models, the hob "heats" regardless of the size of the pot.

It’s also comparable to a light bulb. Electricity goes in, heats the wire, it glows, electricity flows out.

What you should keep in mind with induction is that you shouldn’t wear a pacemaker, watches, chains, rings, or similar on your body, because these attract the radiation. (Magnet )

I don’t worry about it too much. Tin foil hat theorists, experts, laypeople, or kitchen chiefs – everyone tells you something different.
Everyone also has cordless home phones or microwaves at home, and they emit radiation just like an induction hob.

Just my two cents...

No one should ever drive an electric car from you. There are rays coming onto the body, you could lie in a room with induction fields and be irradiated at full power for 24 hours...

No tin foil hat wearer here either (but gas cooker), but: the dose makes the poison. The radiation of any kind of cordless phone is by far not enough to cook your proverbial balls hard. And that’s exactly what induction does.

True - happens at our place more often at breakfast

Induction only works over a very short range. It practically doesn’t reach you unless you lean over the cooktop.

You hold a phone to your ear and thus to your skull.
