Since my uncle, who has been working as a self-employed master carpenter for 30 years, installs the windows and is one of the very reliable ones, I have not worried about it so far. Where should this film protrude, only at the bottom or all around? I have no knowledge at all and therefore do not know how our windows are sealed (maybe there are different possibilities?).

I especially find it unfortunate when checkbook gardening is done instead of earning pride in one’s own (in the sense of self-created) view.

Me? – Never. I wouldn’t turn a fence into an ugly sight just to avoid an ugly view. It’s like choosing between the rain/spout or the devil/Beelzebub. I was merely suggesting that one can desire a view protection, not just privacy protection. Even because of the dumbest looking and color-blindest neighbors, I would not encircle my garden like a prison yard.

I don’t understand this remark – you’re not so new or rare here that you might not have seen the other pictures of this house yet?

Next week is already the topping-out ceremony, how time flies.

I would like to know what something like that costs at the developer....

Hmm, and paving should be immediate, right? Otherwise, pallets would have to be carried into the house for a year...
