Especially in Iceland, I have come to appreciate and love sitting outside in the pool in snow and ice
I meant the cladding on the terrace side. What is that, and is it like the plaster a sandwich layer, or classically ventilated?
Well, we tested the outdoor pool for one "season," and if you only have 2-3 days a week for it, and the weather doesn't cooperate then, that's inconvenient. The solution doesn't damage anything; theoretically, we could still put one outside. Cladding terrace side: So there is only one layer of plaster on the 100mm wood fiber insulation, then battens (I don't know what material), and then anthracite-colored Trespa panels. They are practically ventilated, right.
By the way, this is what the terrace door in the kitchen looks like now. Is it correct like this now, or?
Important is:
1. Sealing to the wall and floor must be diffusion-tight
2. Load transfer is ensured
Regarding 2., I wouldn't have wanted it like this - from my point of view, this (foam-filled continuous gap) is not okay. Ideally, a precisely fitting profile, blocks, or doweled brackets should be placed underneath.
Well, to be honest, we know him ... he is our daughter's dog. With the new house from Oma und Opa he is naturally still "strange" to it now. But that will change instantly once we have moved in. He will then have two houses to choose from.
Someone probably wanted to check if the feeding bowl with treats is already in place.
is not everyone's thing. With the big doors it always looks like you are sitting outside anyway. Unfortunately, northern lights are quite rare here in Germany

Because of point 2, I would not have wanted it like that - from my perspective, it is not okay like this (foamed continuous gap). There should preferably be a precisely fitting profile underneath or blocks or dowelled consoles.
Good point. That is exactly what our DEKRA construction supervisor also pointed out today on all the windows with the result that they will all be repaired. Such a construction supervisor is really worth their weight in gold!
We had the supervised structural shell inspection today and except for the windows and the color of the door everything is great. The electrical rough-in was also already completed and is also excellent according to DEKRA. The ceiling insulation was installed today as well and the plumbing company is already busy. Next week the supervised inspection of the rough plumbing installation will follow. Some photos were taken during the work process.
