We are currently thinking about the terrace roof. We want to implement it as a louvered roof. Actually, we wanted to tackle this only after a few summers. Now our terrace slabs need to be glued, so it is best to determine the posts for the glass roof now in order to provide the post foundations there. Alternatively, the idea is to leave the terrace intact and place the posts just behind the terrace in the lawn. This would be the least stressful option. Unfortunately, there are hardly any example photos of this, so I wonder if there is a reason for this. However, I can't think of any downside except for the more complicated lawn mowing. Are there forum members who have solved their terrace roof this way? Could you perhaps show photos? That would help us a lot in making our decision. For assessment: Our terrace will be 3.60m deep and relatively wide. The lawn area would be large enough (about 14m to the property boundary).
