I think that’s awesome! Which room is that? It could be wonderfully used as a wardrobe right away, judging by how it looks

That is our room. It occupies the entire left part of the building except for a small bathroom at the top left and spans two floors. Downstairs kitchen, dining table, sofa, stove – left gallery desk, shelf, sofa, TV – rear gallery: wardrobe, bed. We simply left out so many walls that we have 12 exterior doors and 5 interior doors in the house.
In the now old picture below, you can see a bit more of the room. The tree has replaced the steel support.

Fascinating! I think that would be too open for me, but your house is currently really the most interesting one here, in my opinion. And on top of that, it’s also nice to look at from the outside.

Our home builder likes to do that too - preferably with a tree that had to be cut down for the construction work. Unfortunately, he didn’t get the chance with us.

Yosan, we also thought for a long time about whether we wanted it to be so "public" - especially since, unfortunately, we don’t stand freely in fields and meadows, but have neighbors quite close. We came up with a concept for privacy screens, so hardly anyone from the street will be able to look into our property. There will also be privacy walls on the neighbor’s side, about whose design we are not yet exactly sure, but it is coming. You always have to accept some sacrifice, and here, getting (affordable!) non-visible plots with a dream view is almost impossible. You can be glad if you even manage to get something buildable at all.

The carpenter was here today and our cupboard under the stairs is finished except for small things (baseboards etc).
