This morning was the final inspection and handover of the final invoice. Cash count. The entire house has now cost us 266,990 euros including construction electricity, construction water, all connections, all earthworks, etc. pp including kitchen and complete lighting inside and outside, surveying, official fees. Only the invoice from the garden landscaper is still outstanding. Otherwise, everything is paid.
When I moved in here in winter, almost everyone said in unison that it wouldn’t work. But it does. At least it works here. And we have a beautiful plot, a partial lake view of Kiel Bay. On top of that a beautiful warm friendly small single-story house. Karsten

I am happy for you. You have shown that it is indeed possible, just like for me/us, to build a house including the land for under 300,000 euros. Contrary to the forum opinion where a house always has to be significantly more expensive!! If that is not the case, then of course it is of inferior quality (according to the forum).
