To make the elevator so that we can get in from the garage, we would not have been able to achieve that in terms of insulation, at least not KFW-compliant. The garage is a cold space, unheated. If you really want to access the house by wheelchair, you can create a path through the garden that then leads to the terrace. Unfortunately, there is no other way; we have a height difference of almost 1.80 meters from the street to the entrance because of the slope... and we didn’t want to dig the house in that far either

That's brilliant! Throw in a few views as well so one can also see from the outside where the thing is going.

How heavy will the pool be?

We are also building with an architect, know that, there is no fixed price.

I think you can see quite well on the two pictures, of course we changed a few details, but roughly speaking, that's the direction we're headed. Only the i8 in the carport is an illusion. Unfortunately, those are my only two 3D animations. The pool weighs 300 kg empty, filled with water and people about 1.5–1.6 tons. But it's statically calculated, which is why there's the T-wall in the kitchen below, where built-in cabinets, etc. will go.

@ Metalwerner I think I will check in here less often. Your house is amazing. The tiler here also attended a course with the large tiles. Interest in our region is close to zero. I feared that such large tiles might be somewhat like the plastic showers common in the UK and Alaska. Yours look great.
