The important thing is less the start than the swift completion, isn't it? What good is it if he shows activity for three days, moves some sand back and forth and possibly pours concrete, and then ducks out and disappears... and it sits idle for weeks. Because our BU exactly knew that our current apartment is sold as of 1.9. and that we have to be out at least two weeks later, has to!, he planned it so that it fits. And anything else would be nonsense. When it really gets going, it has to go hand in hand, otherwise they keep starting over again. Karsten

Anything under 7 months is negligent. Additives, for example to make the screed dry faster, cost unnecessarily a lot of money and should also be avoided. What good is it if the builder rushes to do everything quickly? That guarantees botched work. There are clients who refuse the 3-month option from Viebrockhaus and consciously choose a longer construction period.

But enough philosophy:

Photos should be posted here, questions can be googled under the search or posted as a new entry

5.5 months for a bungalow with 112 sqm without a basement is by no means negligent and certainly not shoddy work.

No, but in mid-September he'll still be in his cave.
