That is exactly why I consider the venetian blind trend questionable; they are always down when you look around, and inside it feels like prison.We are the only ones here with S-slats among some newer houses. Everyone else has opted for Z-slats. But as the design and cozy manager (my husband kindly gave me that title), I decided on the nicer S-slats; the Z-slats seem too technical to me.
Today my husband is very glad because the Z-slats make it too dark for our taste. We primarily want to achieve privacy protection or sun protection in summer. The S-slats are thick and dark enough for our taste as well!
But that is certainly a matter of personal taste!
