Yes, we are getting a controlled residential ventilation system, but how the draft will be has yet to be shown in practice. So far, none of our planners have had concerns about the open design.

Best regards

Then please give feedback; maybe we can still paint the door! You will be clearly finished earlier

Sure, I can do that gladly. How about a reminder around mid-September?

Best regards

I have now been living with controlled residential ventilation for 4 years and the controlled residential ventilation has been running for 4 years. I have not felt any draft so far.

We also only have a door to the HAR and to the WC.

We also built relatively openly, the stairwell is open from the basement to the attic and connected to the kitchen, living room, hallway on the upper floor, and the entrance in the basement. Only the technical room, children's room, and parents' area are separated by doors.

I don't feel any draft. Where should it come from?

For example, we made the hallway by the children's rooms on the upper floor open to the stairwell with an open passage, which was plastered. If we want a door there later, we can easily have one installed afterwards. That would be a possibility for you in advance, right?!

Just because of controlled residential ventilation alone, I would definitely not let anyone dictate a door I don't want.

Our interior plaster is now completely finished. Gypsum plaster in the living areas and lime-cement plaster in the bathrooms. Very neat and smooth work. From now on, we are allowed to ventilate diligently. Which is not so easy with a 20-minute one-way travel time [emoji13]
