The scaffolding for the exterior plaster has been removed and I can provide photos. Hmm, it does look a bit like a "multi-family social housing building" after all, because due to the unexpected price increase we omitted details that are now missing both inside and outside. In hindsight, it would have been better to opt for a "non-individual" standard house at a bargain price, which is usually quite "pleasing and modern." The colors inside and outside have turned out much darker than I thought, and I chose very light tones because I assumed that colors appear darker on larger surfaces. The difference between the ceiling and wall color is personally too big for me; maybe that comes from painting twice on painter’s fleece and was not my intention. I wanted the difference to be noticeable but almost imperceptible. The good thing is that I was able to keep at least a minimum number of windows and French doors. In my opinion, the house now looks not nostalgic as desired, but simply old, old-fashioned. Well, our happiness does not depend on that and maybe I can mask it a little with the landscaping. ;-) I won’t give up that quickly; if necessary, my husband "has to" paint trims and put up shutters. :)
