: It's about glued laminations anyway, so there are differences between the individual laminations regardless. So when joining two large panels, you're essentially doing the same thing.
It’s a different story if you want a solid board, made entirely from solid wood, because for a depth of 90 cm you would need a very substantial tree. Such boards exist, but they are not common products and accordingly quite expensive.
