Our garage is dripping through the ceiling. Allegedly because the drainage is still to come and because the rainwater downpipe is off due to the exterior plastering work. A plastic bag loop was hung on it, but that is gone again.

In the basement, it looked like this today after the rain. This happened after a drying device had been drying the basement for three days following the plastering work. It looks as if the water is coming from below. Walls and ceilings are completely dry.

If you press on it like in the last picture, water bubbles can be provoked.

A bit fitting to another parallel thread: I do hope you declare your water damage as a defect when selling

Of course, this is not meant as mockery, nor was it serious.

Oh man, I hope when the planned move-in happens, nothing of this disaster will be visible anymore .... It'll be fine!

I hope a future buyer does not read all the threads from the thief .... then no one can say they didn't know .... and if everything possible is wrong with such a house, you simply cannot sell it as free of defects!

I have never seen such things in a new building....

Have you already built?
In your opinion, no house is free of defects after handover anymore *placeholder for laughing-crying emoji*

When a defect is fixed, there is no defect anymore.

In the case of the robber, it is of course very annoying and nerve-wracking at the moment, regardless of this topic. No builder wants to experience that, even if many things look worse than they actually are.
