The ceiling is made of solid wood. On the ground floor, these are 16 cm glulam beams (glued laminated timber made of spruce/fir) in visible wood quality. Oiled and sanded twice. By the way, the walls are also made of solid wood with a thickness of 10 cm. On top of that, there is then "only" drywall.

We have underfloor heating!

My room

Bathroom

Sepp's room

Heating circuit distributor upstairs

Utility room

Kitchen

Living room

Living room / office

Hallway

And we finally have to finish painting the house so that the scaffolding can be taken down.
But our energy and motivation are very limited.

Slowly, the last three months are definitely starting to take a noticeable toll on our bones and minds.

And the screed is now in as well.

Here in the pictures, it’s not quite finished yet.

Somehow, I thought the stuff would be more liquid :)

In three days, we are allowed to go in for the first time. But it will probably be more like 5 days, because with the announced 33 or 39 degrees, we’d rather stay in the cool apartment with the old dog. I'm very curious about Monday; that’s when we will look inside for the first time.

We have now decided against textured wallpaper and for painter's fleece, which is currently being applied. The colors are as follows (I am skipping photos because they look different on every monitor):

Ceilings (also in the technical room, but without fleece wallpaper):
--------------------------------------------------------------
Caparol, Light White L96 C2 H109

Walls (also in the technical room, but without fleece wallpaper):
-------------------------------------------------------------
Caparol, Curry 60 L94 C11 H90

We plan to put expressive (possibly self-adhesive) wallpapers on individual walls or hang large-scale pictures.

I really like pictures from the "NYC Dance Project", I just want to research whether a slightly lighter background is possible, because gray tones/dark colors make me sad.

The exterior facade of our house has now been plastered, and it may be painted starting next week. As soon as the scaffolding is removed, I will share new photos here. :)

Addendum: This weekend I will spend cleaning the windows/window sills in the new house for the first time. If any of you have helpful tips for me, I would be happy. I have already read the recommendations of the window manufacturer. I will probably also sweep the floors and remove coarse dirt. All nice and soft by hand. :)

Our general contractor had hired a company that showed up with a ceramic scraper and dish soap water. I think they charged 200 euros for the cleaning back then. Every damage to the windows was meticulously recorded for complaints.
