Oh, they are really great :O But 56€, that would mean an extra cost of over 1200€. That is quite something, for tiles in storage rooms. And that only if they even exist with our dealer.

Looks good! How high is your base or how high is your house above street level?

Finally everything finished, scaffolded down and cleaned up .... only one downpipe I still have to adjust and the gravel at the splash guard was not quite enough. It was fun - at below 0°C I always took breaks because your hands freeze off and the wood freezes together if it has gotten wet.
In total, with insulating, bricklaying, facade installation and ancillary work, around 300 hours for 200m² area.

Now someone just has to make the roof look nice.

After several years of planning and a few months of execution, our new canopy was completed yesterday.

I am very proud of how – and not least WHAT – it has become.
I don’t know how long it will last, but I hope for 100 years.

It is a non-rusting, curved steel frame in which I have tensioned a truck tarp.
I am especially satisfied that the design fits together visually AND functionally.
By that I mean: the roof doesn’t look like it’s only meant as rain protection, but at the same time the shape is exactly right for water drainage.

In the first picture you can see how it was before.

Wow! That is a huge difference. It makes the entire entrance area feel completely different. I also like the "eye" below, which is similarly reflected in the door. Not my style at all, but I still think it has something.

Very individual and a nice "transformation". I always lack the imagination for [Bestand].
