Ah, the floor is still going in there and we actually chose one through a practical test where you practically can't see cat hair, dust, and dirt anymore, so that works.

I took some photos from the balcony inside yesterday on purpose. I think this shows quite well why it makes more sense than a privacy screen directly at the window or a window sill of about 1m. This way, it is much more spacious. Yes!!! What a disaster, we are building a house without underfloor heating. I've already called "schöner wohnen" so they don't have to come by.
