I have a different view from the front ... We have a 50cm roof overhang. But I agree with you: the more the better. And I still think it looks modern.

Okay without fence and tree it looks better.

The larger it is, the more the facade is protected from rain, etc. In summer, for example, we even have shade in the upper floor due to the overhang.

With 80 cm you can leave the window open when it rains without rain getting inside.

Appearance, however, is a matter of taste; short overhangs look more modern.
