The only thing I don’t quite like about the staircase is the sides of the wooden steps, which are covered with stainless steel or aluminum. Personally, I would have preferred if they had remained wood. That really stands out. But otherwise, very harmonious! The railing is just amazing anyway (probably says the person who has to dust it someday, but it looks cool!)

Unfortunately, it couldn't be done differently, as the stair covering is the same as the parquet. A wooden finishing strip is not offered here, and in my opinion, two different wooden coverings (parquet and stairs) look shabby.

The entire railing including the gallery is dust-free within 5 minutes! Here I can only recommend a duster made of real ostrich feathers. With it, I also dust all baseboards as well as lamps and window frames.
