Good point! Still, there would be the edge at the top, and a baseboard should be thicker, right? We've already had the conversation: baseboards "all around the stairs." Tricky topic ^^

I’m not quite sure what to think about it either. I’ll wait for the inspection. The argument from earlier, that other areas in the house could suffer if the stair builder comes back again, is of course true. The wallpaper and the paint already took a bit of a hit during the first stair installation.

Well, I wouldn't say it's massively exaggerated. It is asymmetrical, and the entire handrail leading there is crooked, you can clearly see that. I've heard more than once that it doesn't matter by a centimeter on construction sites, but I don't quite agree. Plans are binding.

If you don't like it and it does not correspond to the agreement, then speak up. Everything else will only annoy you. Especially because they are the wrong post heads.

Although compromises must occasionally be made during construction, it would also bother me.
