Hi,
for us (solid house, with basement) it took 8 months from the first groundbreaking to moving in, which I found borderline slow. Without the unnecessary downtime, it would have easily gone 1 month faster.
And we have normal cement screed, drying time was about 6 weeks, massively supported by 3 dehumidifiers.
For a solid house with a basement, I would estimate 7-8 months construction time, without a basement one month less.
Anything beyond that is in my opinion too slow!

Best regards,

Andreas

- that is interesting, but wrong here. Can this be outsourced?

Merci.

House setup was on 13.06.2017. We moved in on 01.09.2017. Painting/plastering work as well as the floor coverings except for the bathrooms were done by ourselves. However, we were also under quite a bit of time pressure. On 26.06. my daughter was born, so everything was supposed to be finished by 01.09. It worked out.

Yes, please outsource that.

For us, it was almost exactly 9 months from the planning table to moving in. With various DIY efforts (ok, something like insulating the attic only after moving in) and self-contracting, I think that’s a really decent time.

Edit: And it could have been done a bit faster, even, if we hadn’t voluntarily decided to postpone the move until the last minute because of water damage/noise :-(

Perfect. With the grain direction parallel to the front edge and a perfect shadow gap. You can really scrutinize it that way

Square meters describe rooms for accountants, the residents benefit more from the furniture layout.
