Nice property, I like it very much!
Is there a lot of traffic on the railway line? Often it is the case that there is heavy traffic only at certain times, but it is quiet overnight and during off-peak hours.
Nice that the old path is allowed to remain.

Yesterday the basement received its EPDM membrane, today the insulation. Then the excavation pit will be refilled, and we have decided to install a rainwater cistern under the carport. That will be done together with the backfilling.

Then, according to plan, the carport will be prepared. The shell construction is again scheduled in my plan starting from 10/8. I think the parts simply won’t be ready and delivered before that.

I would have liked to build the retaining walls before backfilling so that the backfilling can be done at the correct height right away. At first, our house builder wasn’t enthusiastic about that, but recently he said it might actually make sense (I told you: constant dripping wears away the stone!). Maybe that could be done within the next two weeks. I still have to bring it up again.

Scaffolding erection is planned from 10/15, crane dismantling on 10/29-30, which means: the house will already be standing by then. Delivery of the windows is scheduled for 11/2. And then the interior work begins.

Completion was promised to us for February; I am assuming March as the realistic date when we can actually move in. We are moving within the same town with 5 house tigers. That means the creatures first have to stay in the house for a sufficiently long time to get used to the new home. For us that means: moving in only when the craftsmen are no longer coming and going.

Good luck relocating the house cats. It didn’t work for us. They now live with my parents in their traditional territory.

Hopefully it works out with ours. They will be 2 and 3 years old when they are allowed out for the first time.

@Topic

Today the base plate is being poured here and on Thursday evening the first row of Ytong will already be set.

I have hardcore free-rangers. They just walked back again. Now I know how far their territory extends to the south.
