I think cows are even better listeners than horses. And I also like lawnmowwwwers

Of course. The chauffeur is in the union and wants one day off per week.

My garages are half a kilometer away from the apartment and from each other. Otherwise, without a dog you just don't walk enough

I just looked at the postal code map again. So, from my 350** area, the 352** areas are all to the north, but some also northwest. Anyway, we all seem to be from the "Hessisches Hinterland."

Best regards

Axel

The ground floor is completely built. Tomorrow the ceiling elements will arrive and on Monday the concrete will be poured. The retaining wall behind the fireplace alone supports almost the entire ground floor ceiling, so for structural reasons the wall had to be extended by 25cm on both the left and right sides. Really a shame, this would have made the room feel more spacious but well, better this way than having the ceiling collapse.

And I still have to participate in the ZDF documentary "Pfusch am Bau"

Apparently, a structural engineer had no idea.

That has nothing to do with a lack of knowledge. Rather, it’s because the structural analysis was not carried out simultaneously with the approval of the planning.
If you are flexible, you can do it that way. Basically, in the case of a general contractor, it would have been that we would have known earlier that the support would be longer than it is now. That’s it.
Besides, we updated the chimney, so one support dropped out because we now have a three-sided chimney.
