The windows have a height of 1.01. So they are not loopholes. They just look narrow because the windows are also 2m wide (corner window 1.40m).
And I think they are great:

[*]Upper floor left: children's room, which also has a floor-to-ceiling window next to it
[*]Upper floor middle: hallway, you can even walk half-naked through the hallway without the neighbors looking in
[*]Upper floor right: bathroom, frosted above the bathtub
[*]Ground floor: study. You can't see from the street if someone is sitting at the desk.
