We had about 150m granite edges, 80m² driveway + 25m² paths (brick), 35m² terrace (FSZ) = €23,000. But it's hard for me to break that down afterwards, I wanted about €50 per m² for stone/delivery/installation. (but only in gravel, the rest (frost protection etc.) is mixed into the big bill. so it probably ended up somewhere around 70-80).

Paving stones and terrace slabs are from the building materials trade 6k€, mineral concrete, paving gravel, flower beds, screed sand, cement, 100m 40x20x20 natural stones, trascement so far 4k€. I think another 1k€ of material will be added and 1 mini excavator weekend. Labor costs were planned at 10k€, but without our support it looks like nothing will come of it. So we laid it ourselves yesterday, I will also cut it myself. The budget is there, but I don't see why my money should be burned on an hourly basis.

Yesterday I spoke with my neighbor, he had received an offer from a landscape gardener (3 years ago), labor costs only for 90sqm were 8k€ gross. His assumption was that a cheaper offer of about 6k€ would have been possible.

90m2 driveway in EL:
2.8k paving stones
1.5k helpers
0.8k gravel + split
0.5k mini excavator, compactor
= 5.6k + lots of sweat and muscle soreness

That's exactly what I mean, I wasn't aware that a driveway, paths, and terrace of that size without EL would cost so much, so now it's 80% EL.

Topic Own Work:

We have finally finished our terrace, 50m², BPC mixed with porcelain stoneware, all completely done by ourselves. I didn’t think it would be such an ordeal to mix porcelain stoneware with BPC.... but the result makes up for everything!

Over the area (west terrace) with the porcelain stoneware, there will now be a self-built pergola made of 13x13 larch glulam beams measuring 4m x 3m x 2.70m, and my lounge corner will go underneath! The next summer can come!
