Sorry, but I’m slowly getting tired of these praises for your trades. Allegedly everything runs perfectly for you and you know absolutely everything better... and the thing with supplier X and factory Y is so far-fetched?! All bricks without deviation.... the "additional costs" of the plaster are passed on 1:1... I seriously doubt that the crappy sack of plaster weighs so much that it has to be itemized separately on the invoice.

What can I do about the fact that my trades talk to me and give me information. Are you frustrated right now or why are you attacking me? People are not just here to discuss problems but also to share positive experiences. If you don’t like it, then you can just ignore me. EDIT: So how did your cost estimate with EL turn out? Have you already started? It would also be interesting to get information on the current situation.

Deviations of 1 cm, however, I would also consider very unusual. Something must have gone wrong during manufacturing. 1mm is okay, 2 are almost too much (with flat bricks). In the end, it is not dramatic though; it matters more if a wall is not plumb.

In "defense" I have to say that this is probably also somewhat due to the photos or the lighting. If I had posted pictures without extreme sunlight, it probably wouldn’t have been noticeable at all. The shadow just makes it look so extreme. The walls are plumb, that’s all okay. We do single contracts. And I assume that in the end we can just barely afford the little bit more plaster.

In my opinion one of the most beautiful houses and the nicest shown front garden here in the thread! Wishing you continued joy

I’m not venting frustration. Just this “I’m so great and know everything” attitude is, to put it mildly, “not my thing.” You will surely tolerate open criticism if you yourself also handle it so openly. On the other hand, your expertise is mostly based on hearsay... Edit: Financially, I am in the red. Construction schedule too. However, often very stressful (but okay thanks to flexible working hours).
