There are only two types of feet:
Those made of plastic and those made of metal.
Although RATIONELL has all kinds of things, they don’t have feet.
Somehow, I can't shake the impression that it might actually be your fault...

Yes, good. Sorry, I was mistaken. The feet are simply called Faktum. However, there now seem to be 2 different plastic legs. Take a look at the .pdf and look at my picture again. Do you notice anything?

Oh Derp,

complaining afterwards doesn't help anymore.

No, there's never a high-voltage cable included with the cooktop, you’re supposed to have it installed by a professional company! You found a great solution with the legs, very good! Between us, the hotline can’t really help you, on the one hand the people aren’t trained installers and on the other hand there are often communication problems. Customer explains something, employee doesn’t understand a word, and vice versa. So whatever it costs, it doesn’t matter. Even when you’re on the construction site, eventually you go home or can call someone for help in an emergency or look it up online. But whatever. The kitchen seems to be installed now. Have you solved the drawer problem?

Just make your own post with your experiences, especially the tip with the legs could help others too. And now, hand on heart, Ikea isn’t really that bad, so much is really well thought out. Try buying furniture for self-assembly at the discount store, oooh!!! And the kitchen probably looks really good, right!?

Yes, sure. And if a professional company brings me a cable and charges me for it, I pay multiple times the value of the cable...

Of course, I eventually come home from the construction site, but beforehand, you first try all sorts of things to get a drawer without instructions out of the cabinet. Have you ever tried that, Nayla? The question is: Why isn't that in the instructions...? There are actually people out there who don't have the internet... They rely on calling the expensive hotline and I really find that cheeky of IKEA. And how are you supposed to level the kitchen with plastic feet without a wall molding? Without a molding that exactly specifies the horizontal level, that becomes extremely difficult.

And yes, the kitchen looks good... But without a lot of good tools and special tools (e.g. stainless steel sink, where you have to mill the hole for the faucet yourself), you're really helpless. Even milling a hole for the faucet—even that is too much to ask from IKEA. Why? As a consumer, I have to figure out how to get this milling tool and possibly buy it new, as do some other consumers. Such a milling tool or hole cutter as a drill attachment also costs extra, unless you know someone who has the tool. And something like that doesn't have to be, in my opinion.

So that you can make the hole where you need it and don’t have to have the sink made around the hole, quite simple!
My God, your whining is really getting on my nerves.

Got it. I am saying what many others are only thinking and keeping their fists in their pockets. You’re probably confusing my factual criticism with "Mimi" and are implying something in me that suits your agenda. Sorry if I shook your IKEA worldview. But I thought one could exchange ideas here and, if necessary, share experiences with like-minded people and help each other.

What does your nickname mean? Are you an IKEA employee?
