So, I've now set all the thermostats to max on the ground floor, the heat pump is running. Is the curve still too high then?

Hi, quick update...

Since I turned the heating curve down to 0.4 and set the thermostats to max, the heat pump has been running continuously. The flow valves were completely open everywhere. (Some do not go lower than 1.5, I tried manually to open them further)

The average temperature has risen by about 1 degree everywhere. On the ground floor about 21.8 degrees, on the upper floor just over 22 degrees, and the bathroom 23 degrees. Current outside temperature 3 degrees.

Should I already do something to cool the house down? Or should I wait first regarding inertia?

What I also noticed, by the way, is that after I set the radiator in the bathroom to 5, nothing happens, the flow is also at 0.

Turn down the heating curve. Anything above 0.25 is nonsense in a new building. You would have to want 24 degrees in the place or have a disastrous system.

But 22 degrees on the ground floor is not too warm now, is it?

Take a look at a diagram with heating curves. 0.4 means at 3 degrees outdoor temperature already 34-35 degrees flow temperature. That’s already nicely warm at the feet... That should be the endpoint for a modern underfloor heating system and not already at 3 degrees outdoor temperature. The endpoint at 0.4 and -15 degrees standard outdoor temperature is over 40 degrees flow temperature!

0.25 is the starting basis with an endpoint of ~35 degrees in the flow. The underfloor heating should be designed accordingly. You’d rather want less, e.g. an endpoint of 30 degrees. Saves real money on consumption.

The house will warm up further; it has only been running like this for a few hours. But you also notice directly with what kind of energy the heat pump is pumping into the underfloor heating and leaving it unused because the ERR clamps down. Completely pointless. First you heat the water properly, then you drip it into the heating circuit. Simply makes no sense.

Ok, I’ve now turned it down to 0.2! By the way, it can only be adjusted in 0.1 increments.

22 degrees is too warm for me... 21 degrees is the maximum tolerable.
