Tile bathroom installation direction?

we don't have 60 by 120 but 30 by 60 (which is similar in proportions) and installed it like this:
So basically parallel to the T-line:

we laid out one row on site each and then decided immediately...

I have another question.

The T wall is also part of the shower and the T wall is not ceiling-high.

So the shower consists of 2 interior walls that are not ceiling-high and the tall exterior wall. We would only tile the exterior wall as high as the T wall so that all the tiles in the shower are the same height. We would plaster the remaining section above the tiles. The tiler says he would tile the tall wall up to the ceiling.
