If the underfloor heating goes through the shower, then that is absolutely no problem. And water has never stood with me.

Yes, that's true. I squeegee the floor after showering, takes 5 seconds and I would do it even with fewer grout lines.

We have a shower drain that has been tiled. The cleaning is really very simple, once a week lift the rail and take out a small sieve to empty. I would always choose such a shower drain again. In the kids' bathroom we have ready-made mosaic tiles. The mosaic tiles are already very expensive, so this variant didn't really save any money. I wouldn't cut the mosaic, it certainly won't be perfect.

Best regards

If it really is supposed to be mosaic, then a new tile should be used for that. The wood look is supposed to be somehow depicted as well. With so many leftover pieces, I can hardly imagine that it would still create a "nice" picture if the wood patterns are scattered all over the place.

If this is about majority opinions: My vote is clearly for Rinne. Nice floor, easy to maintain.

Hello,
We have 3 showers, 2 of which are level with the floor.

For the level showers, 10x10 cm mosaic tiles were cut from the floor tiles.

One of the level showers has a wall drain, this is the main bathroom, it works great, the water drains without any problems and cleaning is also completely normal.

The other level shower has a centrally located floor drain, which works just as smoothly.

I think if it is done properly, it will work as well.

However, I wouldn’t make the decision based on 600€, but rather on what you like.

Otherwise, you might regret it and the other options don’t come for free either.

Best regards
Birgit

Could you please send me one or two photos of the underside or the brackets on which the rail rests, or post them here? I want to compare to see if something is different with us, so I don't get annoyed.
