Good idea! I'll think about it.

You should ideally wipe the panes briefly after every shower. With tiles, this apparently isn’t necessary. Because in old bathrooms, the grout is always ugly. Even the silicone joints. If you don’t wipe tiles, then you just have long-term consequences; with glass panes, it happens quite quickly. So glass is preferable. I am super lazy when it comes to cleaning myself, but I also chose glass. Cleaning effort and light incidence or cleaning effort and no light and in the worst-case grout mold equals the super worst-case "new tiles." So there are quite a few arguments for glass.

Only the shower curtain or "completely open" far surpasses tiles and glass when it comes to minimizing cleaning effort.

My shower is quite similar ... floor plan:

I have fitted the slope with a folding door that opens inward and downward. Unfortunately, it is not so easy to photograph:

On the left, you can see the folding door opened inward. And at the bottom in the mirror, you can also see it again:

The advantage is that the droplets go down into the shower area and don't end up in front of the shower.

I have been using it for about 8 years now and would do it the same way again.

Less is enough for me, and my figure is competent or whatever it's called.

My brother-in-law, a trained "paramedic", now a building services engineer, says that even at 120cm it gets wet in front without a partition. However, he assumes that the shower head will be mounted on the short side. But he also cleans the bathroom after every use (squeegee). ops: P.S. I am now planning about 135cm deep without a door etc. and hope not to flood the bathroom every time.

I currently have a shower measuring 180x90 with the showerhead on the short side. The glass wall is 120 long. The water splashes up to about 140cm (although I only have a handheld shower and no rain shower and I am rather small myself). 135 could work, depending on how hard you shower.
