Good morning!
The floor heating under the shower is of course more effort for planners/plumbers/screed layers. Therefore, people often argue with lime etc. – in my opinion, complete nonsense! See also experiences in the thread.
What you have to consider, however, is that the immediate heat at the shower channel CAN dry out the siphon and it might start to smell!
PS: For us, of course, with floor heating under the shower in the bathroom and WC; however, with distance to the channel and everything well wrapped/insulated.
