Surcharge for installing large-format tiles

For such large tiles over 120x240, you need 3-4 people for the installation, which is probably even affordable then.

I believe that too, 120x240 ranks in the category golden faucet. The prices go up to the moon there.

I asked at the tile specialty store (the one that also has the golden faucets ... ). They said they expect installation costs of EUR 80-110 per sqm. However, my developer is charging me EUR 93 as additional costs - which seems extremely generous. The installation apparently requires two men (instead of one), according to the tile store.

For the installation of 80x80 instead of 60x60 tiles, the same tile store would charge

 

If you want them throughout the entire bathroom, extensive cutting work is required, which should not be underestimated. If you only want them in the shower, the price hardly plays a role in relation to the material costs. Or does it add up to more than 6 sqm?

I also received the information from a local tiler, 100 euros for installation plus materials. This is certainly subject to local variations and calculations.
