Morning

A very good floor plan, in my opinion. It is also clear again that the simple and straightforward solutions are the best. However, I still see potential in the views/windows. Adjust the upper light strips to the lower windows. For example, visually combine the windows in the hallway/WC area into one.

With the T-solution in the bathroom it will be difficult as the narrow window in front of the bathtub cannot really brighten the room. Generally, I wonder if windows only 1.13 m wide upstairs would suffice, this way the rooms could be better furnished without something always standing in front of the floor-to-ceiling window. What do you think about the living/dining area... floor-to-ceiling or as currently planned?

Hello again

I would base the living area windows on the furnishing of the living room.
Orientation and terrace in the south - leave as is.
Orientation and terrace in the west - normal windows on the street side and floor-to-ceiling windows to the west in the living and dining area.

Would it be an option to install narrower floor-to-ceiling windows at the top instead of the planned 1.51 m? I think this way there are more placement options without always having to have something in front of the window in the children's rooms. Light would still come into the room through the additional light strips.

What is the opinion on this?

In front of floor-to-ceiling windows, however, you really can't place anything sensible. In front of windows with a sill height of about 90 cm, for example, a desk can very well stand halfway, which at least gets decent daylight.

The light strips start with us at about 87 cm and yes, the desk should then be underneath. We are reluctant to do without floor-to-ceiling windows, so the idea is to plan narrower floor-to-ceiling windows on the upper floor.
