Doesn't work that well with sockets in the floor ;) Better a scrubber/vacuum machine. It depends on how big it really is. So far, we don't know...

Well, the sockets could be at the highest point, the floor drain is naturally at the lowest point. The area where the devices stand probably wouldn’t be sprayed off. I was thinking more of the sauna/ wellness area. Once you've made a mess with plenty of massage oil, something like that would be quite practical.

Hello! Thanks again for the tips. Here are a few details:

Sauna:
- approx. 20 m², should be equipped with a whirlpool tub (rather not a jacuzzi), wooden sauna, tiled shower and 2 loungers, there is probably a window in the north and one in the east, so it could be ventilated
- Regarding the drain: since we are planning a small tiled shower anyway, you could just wipe everything into it, so no separate floor drain needed?
- We are planning a decentralized ventilation system anyway, it wouldn't hurt to install an element in the sauna as well, right?

Regarding fitness:
- approx. 15 m²
- True, floor protection mat and underfloor heating is counterproductive, although I plan to install the underfloor heating anyway (in case the room is used differently later), but actually never turn it on. The fitness basement should not be warm, but rather nice and cool
- Ventilation: as above with the sauna, also an element of the decentralized ventilation system planned

Is that okay, what do you think?

Yes, you can ventilate... but honestly? Do you want that? You have to ventilate regularly, and then you run down to the basement two to three times a day to open windows and a few minutes later close them again?

You want to install a sauna, whirlpool, etc., and a decentralized ventilation system? Why is that?

Here comes the admonishing finger of someone who has already dealt with charred bodies in the sauna: definitely plan and also build a _sensible_ escape route to the outside in the sauna!

Make a central controlled residential ventilation. Decentralized is only a compromise. For a whirlpool, you additionally need dehumidification in this room. You haven't written anything about accessibility yet. But honestly, where is the big room here? These will rather be tiny cellar rooms without any wellness character. It's okay for training and such, but after the introductory words, I expected something different. Lighting also plays a big role. I hope you are aware of what, for example, a professional cross trainer costs. At least five figures (and then there is the transport issue inside the house). Dumbbell sets for short and long barbells each cost four figures, etc. That adds up quite a bit. Just saying: we have a fitness room with almost 70m2 and I still wouldn't call that big. The equipment is certainly very upscale. I don't want to discourage you, but think carefully about whether you are willing to bear the investment and also use it in the basement. Better build a controlled residential ventilation first. Lay out the garden, etc. You can have heavy-duty power installed for the sauna.
