Or even better, I would like wood throughout the entire wet area. I don't care about stains on the wood, it just shouldn't get moldy. Does anyone have experience with wooden floors, wood on the walls (directly in the splash zone)?
Best regards

We wanted to use minimal tiles throughout the house and decided on [Beton cire]. The hallway, kitchen, and guest WC are completely tile-free; only in the bathtub bathroom do we have large floor tiles; walls, washbasin, and the entire shower are also plastered with [Beton cire] here. I have to say: it was a great decision—visually, tactilely, and regarding maintenance in the kitchen and bathroom. I can really recommend it. The only thing we're not entirely happy with is the floor ([beton Floor])—but we wouldn't be happy either if we had to watch a grouted surface age there.

Hi krachbumms. Did you design your walls with Beton Cire yourselves or have them done by a company? I would be interested to know how it is applied. On the internet, it looks like the material costs about 25€ per square meter. That would be quite manageable.

we had that done. I’m not exactly a fabulous craftsman, but my impression was that it’s not quite that easy. 25€ seems very little to me. Besides the filler that needs to be applied multiple times, you also have to sand and seal. I once communicated with someone who in the end, I believe, arrived at a price of 50-75€ per square meter when doing it yourself...
