Stupid question: what does a lifting station have to do with a shower or washing machine, I thought you only need it when the sewer is higher than or equal to the house connection? So no matter what kind of water accumulates in the basement...?

It must be drained below the backwater level in (almost) every construction project. This means that every shower / washbasin / toilet in the basement requires a SANIBROY lifting system.

In principle, the Sanibroy lifting system pumps the water from the basement upwards, only to then lead it back down into the sewer ;)

Yes, the plot looks good. What can be found next door? Are there houses there, is construction still ongoing? Where are the garages located? How tall is the nearest tree?
The house should be planned with the window and room layouts based on these conditions.
The house you have chosen now is quite standard and comes in various sizes. Your size is already quite a big one ;) If you plan to stay in the house as long as possible, I would a) give the bathroom a senior-friendly size and b) also plan a room for sleeping. Or alternatively a stair layout that can accommodate a stairlift.
The construction company probably still has other standard houses that could be upgraded accordingly?!
Tip: other companies also have their model houses, usually all very similar, but often there are small special components that you can adopt.

I think a more elongated house shape offers more satisfactory possibilities

A quarter-turn staircase will probably be a bit longer?
But as already said: given the house size, consider a different layout, because no one wants to have dirt from the entrance on their stockings when going up the stairs.

I actually find that niche very cozy. But that might also be because I have never lived in such a conventional house with that stairwell ;)

No, this area is usually built up (often the installation lines disappear behind it).

So every user (in the basement) needs an individual lifting system, and there is not one for EVERYTHING that accumulates. OK, then it’s clear.

Good morning,

It’s the other way around: shower and washbasin (in the basement) must be connected to "one" Sanibroy. If a toilet is to be installed additionally and the excrement first needs to be macerated, the lifting system must have a macerator. This means the more that is connected, the bigger/more extensive "one" lifting system must be designed.

Single-family houses are also being built to the east, west, and north. The one to the north will probably be higher than ours due to the slope. To the south, there are already houses, but also one and a half stories. Ideally, we will be able to see right through a gap there :-)

The only unpleasant thing is a house that starts roughly at the "north" label on the map. Two and a half stories, rather run-down with an ugly shed on the side. I don’t really need a view towards that ;-)
The position of the other garages/carports is unfortunately not yet really fixed, so it is difficult to plan accordingly.

The house on which our floor plan is based is the only "standard" house the company has. All the "freely" designed ones are a bit more expensive.

Oh, I didn't even think about the dirt! Phew, let's see if the stairs can be installed differently somehow. When older, a part of the living room downstairs on the left would presumably suffice. Access either through the living room or by adding a door in the wall.

Regarding the lifting system: So if a washing machine and a sink are to be in the basement and that is below the pipe level (only the wastewater pipe, right?), do I definitely need a lifting system? I would be surprised if they planned that in...
