no matter what you buy, I strongly advise against the "self-cleaning" coating (catalysis). The self-cleaning is a joke, hand cleaning also doesn't work because the coating is rough and is damaged even with the slightest rubbing. A technician from the Siemens customer service himself said that it doesn't work and many customers complain because the ovens look like a 10-year-old appliance after half a year. Either a normal coating and clean yourself or pyrolysis (but that is not available from DGB).
Ah, I first read that you advise against pyrolysis. What a few small inconspicuous letters can do.
I grew up with Miele, so it will be a Miele combo for me as well. However, I would prefer a DGC and a BM. Unfortunately, it seems that Siemens only offers ovens with microwave and pyrolysis. But I don’t want to go without pyrolysis for the "main baking device," so only a standard oven remains, and a small 40 cm wide microwave will be placed on a pull-out shelf in one of the tall cabinets. That should just warm the grain pads and is also best for the budget.
Oven with steam function interests me a lot, but I haven’t used it yet. Some of them can even clean themselves, right?
I don’t believe there are steam ovens with pyrolysis. That would probably be the holy grail of tightness for steam and resistance for 500°C. I think there are partly cleaning programs that soak dirt. Possibly also with chemical support. But I’m not sure about that.
