Could it be the cable? Our one was also extremely loud. Then I removed the cover and moved the cable again... now it works. You can still hear it when it starts cooling though

Finally someone who understands me ... the new refrigerators annoy me so much too ... both the new one in the rental apartment (Siemens) and the one now (Samsung French Door) make strange noises ... my old AEG never made anything like that ... they’re not loud but they just make weird bubbling noises or humming all the time ... annoying .... Overall, I’m not really happy with all the A++ appliances ... induction makes weird noises, Miele dishwasher is also 100 times louder than the Bosch from the rental apartment, which costs half as much ... you get used to it a bit ...

Built-in means not freestanding, but integrated into the tall cabinet row. I will check the air supply. Thanks. I always thought the newer, the better the technology and thus quieter.

It has 39 decibels, that's not much. If it were freestanding, I would suggest just hitting it from the side. That works wonders on my PC at work. I think it's shaking in the cabinet!

we only hear our LG SbS freestanding when it is running on power cooling. And no, the new one doesn't have to be louder. The (Miele) dishwasher is actually more loud than quiet, although "loud" is relative, it is quieter than the Bosch before, but you can hear it, I wouldn't want that in the living room. On the other hand, the new washing machine (Miele) is almost silent!

If it were freestanding, I would recommend just striking it from the side. That works wonders for my PC at work.

same for mine - however, that's because a fan is wobbling - so opening it up and installing a new fan would definitely be better for the PC
